Team Cobblers, led by Northampton Town Head Chef Paul Tyrrell and matchday Chef Martin Tabuns, returns this year for the charity bike ride from London to Amsterdam in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.
The event takes place from June 7th - 9th and this will be Paul’s third year in a row taking part in the ride.
“I am doing this for the third year in a row now in order to achieve my goal of raising £5,000 for Prostate Cancer UK," he said.
"I lost my father to Prostate Cancer and I know the money is going to a very important cause. If by doing this ride I can make even one person go for a check-up then I have done what I set out to, it is so important."
The aim for Paul is to reach £5,000 raised across the three rides so if you would like to support Paul you can find his JustGiving page here.
We are proud to support Paul and his team in this year's event, at Saturday’s game against Exeter we will be selling bags of sweets in a red and white bag for £1 with all the profits going to Prostate Cancer. We will also have money buckets located all around the stadium at the game on Tuesday against Newport County, so please bring your spare change and give what you can, every penny counts!
