PIERRE AND ELSNIK RETURN, CURLE HOPEFUL ON TURNBULL AVAILABILITY

Team news ahead of the visit of Port Vale

29 March 2019

Aaron Pierre, away on international duty with Grenada, and Jordan Turnbull (ankle) could both be in contention for the visit of Port Vale.

“Jordan got a knock on his ankle in training last Thursday but we are hoping he will be back,” said boss Keith Curle.

“We missed Jordan and Aaron last Saturday but I thought Ryan Hughes did very well on his debut.

“Aaron and Timi Elsnik are both back from international duty and they will both be in contention. I’m never ever going to say to a player they can’t go and represent their country because I think it’s the pinnacle for any player to get that recognition.

“Shaun McWilliams is back field based training as is Junior Morias.

“George Cox is back training with Brighton and hopefully he will be back with us soon.”
