Cobblers boss Keith Curle has set his players the toughest of challenges as he previews the visit of Port Vale on Saturday.
“The run-in starts now,” he said.
“I think we need six wins and a draw if we want to make the play-offs and the onus and accountability is on us. We need to just try and accumulate as many points as possible and be there if anyone slips up.
“When I say 'we' I include the supporters, they can play a massive part and they were phenomenal again last Saturday.
“I need to be successful and I want people around me who have that same hunger and desire.
“I want to win every game and I want to see that hunger in the changing room with every game we play.”
