The annual EFL Day of Community action takes place on Tuesday March 19th, and Northampton Town will be supporting the day by showcasing some of our work.
Some of the events scheduled to take place that day are:
We will start at St Gregorys Primary School helping pupils with motivation to read as well as taking them through some physical activity.
Later in the morning we will be at the Northampton Academy for a mentoring session working with some secondary school pupils.
We will spend the afternoon at Windmill Primary School in Northampton, delivering PE and school sport sessions while at the same time we will be staging Girls Football Session at Manor School in Raunds.
Northgate School is another venue we will be working at, staging a disability football session while our girls professional development centre training session will also take place.
Finally, our latest Man v Fat session, the programme that rewards players not just for scoring goals but for losing weight too, takes place at the Goals Centre in Northampton.
