Recently, the Northampton Town Walking Football squad organised a six a side indoor tournament, raising more than £200 towards the purchase of a defibrillator.
Use of facilities were kindly donated by Redwell Leisure Centre in Wellingborough and saw teams from Rushden & Diamonds, Kettering, Desborough, Earls Barton United and Oundle Town join the Cobblers in an excellent afternoon, with Kettering deservedly taking the trophy.
