Northampton Town's matchday experiences are showing an increase in numbers for the third successive season.
The matchday experiences programme, which sees the club partner with schools, teams and groups to attend games and enjoy a special matchday experience such as waving the flags, walking out with the players, forming the Guard of Honour or taking part in the Boost Cup, our half time penalty shoot out competition.
The Boost Cup had 760 participants across the season, this increased to 840 last season and with all the competition now in to its final stages for this season, the figures will reach 980!
The number of youngsters waving flags or forming the Guard of Honour has also increased, from 245 in 2016/17 to 290 in 2017/18 and so far 336 children have enjoyed this matchday experience this season.
41 children were matchday mascots in 2016/17, this rose to 70 in 2017/18 and has risen again to 84 so far this season.
Our successful matchday birthday parties, supported by Smyths Toy Superstores, saw 10 children celebrate on a home matchday in 2016/17. This rose to 20 last season and stands at 24 for 2018/19.
Finally, the number of Junior Cobblers members has risen from 285 in 2016/17 to 333 this season.
