The Cobblers squad is set to be boosted ahead of this weekend’s trip to Stevenage with up to four players possibly back in contention.
“Potentially we could have four players back for Saturday and the changing room is really starting to thrive on that competition,” said boss Keith Curle.
“Sam Foley is back out training on the grass as is Shay Facey.
“Jordan Turnbull was touch and go for last Saturday but unfortunately he just failed a fitness test.
“Marvin Sordell has finished a course of injections and we will see how he settles down in the next 24 hours but he may be available.
“George Cox is still being assessed and we are just waiting to hear if he will need to have a course of injections or undergo an operation. His attitude has been first class, he has still been in and around the squad and he wants to be involved and play his part.”
