Assistant boss Colin West has spoken about his first few months at the club, his working relationship with manager Keith Curle and their ambitions for the future.
“I’m really enjoying my time here and the people in and around the club have been first class,” he said.
“Keith and I get on well and we have got similar philosophies in terms of the way we want the team to play. We’ve got a good chemistry and I think we work well together.
“He will always ask my opinion which is good and I’m not someone who is just going to say yes for the sake of it. Keith will always make the final decision but I do have an input which is good and if I didn’t then there would be no point in me being here.
“We’d like to have more wins on the board and we’ve just got to turn those draws into wins.
“The club has got potential and that’s the reason why we wanted to come here. It’s a good football club and it shouldn’t really be in League 2. I know the club was relegated last season and we want to try and get back to League 1 as quickly as possible.
“It’s a building process, we’ve got some good players here and they just need to believe in themselves a bit more.”
