Defender Joe Martin is fit and available for selection this weekend after picking up a knock at Portsmouth in midweek.

“We’ve still got a clean bill of health, everybody has come through this week fine,” said boss Keith Curle.

“We got some good minutes into some of the players who haven’t been getting regular game time and with a busy period coming up over Christmas we are going to need the whole squad.

“It’s good to have everybody up to speed and on the same page. We are a squad who are very together and the players have all been conducting themselves really well both physically and mentally.

“There are going to be some disappointed people that are not travelling with us this weekend but that shows the level of competitiveness we have in the squad.

“I spoke to (youth team coach) Jon Brady about Michael Harding and Jacob Ballinger who travelled with us to Portsmouth. I would have liked to have got Jacob on the pitch as well but it’s good to have those players involved in and around the environment.

“We’ve got a demanding but welcoming environment and when we welcome those young players into training it’s up to them then to show what they can do.”
