Cobblers boss Keith Curle praised Northampton Town's away support as the travelling fans prepare to make the trip to Crawley Town on Boxing Day.
“The support we had on Saturday at Mansfield was phenomenal again,” he said.
“They were willing the ball into the back of the net in the second half and hopefully we will see as many people as possible at Crawley on Boxing Day.
“It wasn’t the prettiest of games at Mansfield, both teams wanted to get on the front foot and when that happens there is a clash. Neither side wanted to sit back and I think that is credit to both teams.
“Any point away from home is a good one and I think our home form at the minute certainly stacks up.
“Ideally you go into every game with a mindset of trying to get all three points but if you can’t do that you at least make sure you come away with something.
“We had a debrief of the Mansfield game on Monday morning and then the focus quickly switched to Crawley.
“The players are focused and they are well aware of their responsibilities.
“They are professionals’, we are in a professional set up and they have a responsibility not just to themselves or to me but to the football club and to every single supporter."
