KEITH CURLE SAYS FANS CAN RELATE TO PLAYING IDENTITY OF THE SQUAD

The Cobblers boss on the progress being made

Cobblers boss Keith Curle believes the supporters are now identifying with the players and are seeing what they bring to the football club.

Curle says the club now have a playing identity, and it is one the supporters can relate to and enjoy watching.

“The supporters now have got the identity of the players and what they bring to the football club,” he said.

“They know what to expect, we are a very committed group, we understand how to play to our strengths but also that we need to earn the right to play how we want to play.

“We gain confidence by how we train and how we play and confidence is about having a belief in what you are doing.

“The players have bought into what we are trying to do and I know there is still more to come from that changing room.

“The changing room is on an upward curve, sometimes you do get negative results and it’s then about how you react to that.”
