The Northampton Town youth team welcomed their MK Dons counterparts to Moulton College on Saturday for their latest Youth Alliance fixture.
The Cobblers youngsters recorded an emphatic 8-1 victory with Caleb Chukwuemeka (2), Haydn Price (2), Tom Scott, Michael Harding, Jordan Fowler and Urijah Gordon-Douglas all on the scoresheet.
"The boys were relentless from start to finish," said a delighted under 18s coach Jon Brady.
"It was 3-1 at half-time but the boys really kept their foot on the pedal in the second half and showed a real hunger to score more goals.
"Their attitude was first class and we really put MK Dons to the sword."
