Cobblers boss Keith Curle previews Tuesday night’s trip to Swindon Town.
“The one thing that is evident from Saturday is that we need to work harder both in and out of possession,” he said.
“Our movement and desire to get into the opposition box and to defend our own need to improve and as a collective group we need to come out of our shells and start expressing ourselves in a positive vain. We’re not hiding away from the fact that Saturday wasn’t good enough both individually and collectively and I’m accountable for that
“As a new group coming together you are going to make mistakes but we need to take the safety break off.
“We’ve got to be more determined and more aggressive and we need to start putting demands on people. We need more hunger and a greater intensity in our play right from the word go.
“We don’t fear anybody but we need to put our own house in order and that starts with our mental approach. We need to work harder as a team and the players have been left under no illusions about that.”
