Cobblers boss Keith Curle reflecting on Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Colchester United.
“I didn’t feel there was a lot in the game,” he said.
“I haven’t seen it back yet but I was disappointed with the goal, I thought it was lazy defending.
“I don’t think we moved the ball quickly enough when we did have possession and when we do have chances we need to work the goalkeeper more.
“We needed to fight harder for the ball and retain possession better. Defensively I thought we looked okay but we need more creativity.
“It’s not been the start we wanted but we would have probably taken two draws from the games this week and we’ve won one and lost one. “
