HELPING MUSTAFA UPGRADE HIS WHEELCHAIR

Club kicking off appeal to help Mustafa secure a new wheelchair

30 April 2019

Mustafa El-Bayati (although a lot of you will know him as Muzzy!) has been a very popular figure around the club, especially on matchdays, for many years now.

Mustafa has cerebral palsy and relies on his wheelchair to get around and to be able to have his own independence. Mustafa’s current wheelchair needs upgrading, and that is why we are asking for your help, to raise money for Mustafa to get his new chair.

Mustafa and his family have always had the Cobblers close to their heart. The El-Bayati family have been supporters of the club for over 30 years, since the County Ground days.

Mustafa and his family have raised thousands of pounds for the club and the Community Trust, particularly with our multi-disability football programmes.

Raising money for the club at various functions often in the cold, wet and difficult times, Mustafa, his father Abdul (who unfortunately passed away just over twelve months ago) and his mother Shelia all gave up their time to help Northampton Town Football Club and Community Trust because to them, the Cobblers are family.

There could not be a more deserving person than Mustafa to benefit from our support. Mustafa would never ask anyone for anything but will always be the first person to lend a helping hand to those that need it. This time it is our turn to help Mustafa.

The club are starting the appeal to secure a new wheelchair for Mustafa with a £500 donation. To lend your support, please click here
