On-loan defender George Cox is back training with the Cobblers having completed his field based rehabilitation with parent club Brighton.
“George is back training with us,” said boss Keith Curle.
“He had a physical test earlier in the week to make sure that he was at the same level as when he first joined us and the results of that were very good.
“He’s trained well and he is doing everything he can to make himself available for selection.
“Shaun McWilliams is still undergoing field-based rehabilitation. He had a slight aggravation to his hamstring but we are hoping that by the end of the week he is back in full traiing.”
