THE COBBLERS ARE SUPPORTING PROSTATE CANCER UK ON SATURDAY

Charity collection taking place this weekend

20 September 2018

Northampton Town Football Club are supporting Prostate Cancer UK on Saturday to support the charity’s bid to stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Look out for Prostate Cancer UK volunteers who will be around the PTS Academy Stadium before the game, raising awareness of a disease that kills one man every 45 minutes in the UK. Fans will be able to show their support by donating, or by buying one of the charity’s iconic ‘Man of Men’ pin badges, which have been a mainstay on the lapels of managers and pundits in recent seasons.

The charity is backed by Cobblers boss Dean Austin.

He said: “Prostate Cancer UK’s work in football over recent seasons has been fantastic, and it’s brilliant that Northampton Town are continuing to support the charity over the next campaign.

“A lot can happen in one half of football, but to know that we will lose one man to prostate cancer during that time is a scary and saddening fact – and one that we need to turn around as soon as possible."

Get your Man of Men badge like Kevin Van Veen, David Buchanan and Matt Crooks and join the fight against prostate cancer.

Text BADGE to 70004 to donate £5 to help stop prostate cancer being a killer (and get your own Prostate Cancer UK Man of Men pin badge to wear with pride).
