Cobblers boss Dean Austin apologised to Cobblers supporters as he reflected on the 4-0 defeat away at Mansfield.
“I can only apologise to our faithful supporters for what we served up, it was unacceptable,” he said.
“We started okay but then gave away a stupid goal and then we were chasing the game.
“The concern for me now is at the start of the season we were playing well and creating chances but now we’re not even playing well.
“I won’t stand for that today and there will be big changes on Tuesday.
“I feel that I have let the fans down and I’m really angry.
“We’re far too easy to play against at the moment and I can’t defend that this afternoon.
“Everyone is under pressure including me and we have got to start producing."
