Northampton Town manager Dean Austin has said it is important that the players give the supporters something to rally behind at the PTS Academy Stadium on Saturday.
“We have a great following here but ultimately we have to give the supporters something so that they want to get right behind the boys and be our extra man," he said.
“I look back to Plymouth here at the end of last season and the way we played in that game, the way we went about it, the intensity we showed and our whole set up.
“We were on the front foot and that’s how I want us to play.
“The fans have suffered here for far too long and we need to start giving them something back.”
