DEAN AUSTIN WANTS TO TURN PERFORMANCES INTO POINTS

The Cobblers boss looks ahead to Saturday's game

6 September 2018

Cobblers boss Dean Austin wants his side to turn their performances in to points as he looks ahead to Saturday’s clash with Cheltenham Town at the PTS Academy Stadium.

“We are really looking forward to the game and we know what we have got to do,” he said.

“Of the three home league games we’ve had we could have easily won all three, we’ve been pretty dominant in all of the games and played some decent stuff but we’ve got to turn our dominance into wins.

“I’m a great believer in the harder you work the luckier you become and the boys have worked very hard again this week.

“There is no such thing as the perfect performance and even when we play well I will still analyse the game and look at where we can improve.

“Since Chris Wilder left this football club it has lost too many games of football and we need to change that mentality. If we keep working at the same level we have been we will get results and when we get that we will change the mindset.”
