Northampton Town's youth team welcomed Peterborough United to Moulton College in the EFL Youth Alliance on Saturday.
A late goal from Scott Pollock secured a 1-0 victory for Jon Brady's side who remain top of the table and unbeaten this season.
"It was a tough game in difficult conditions but we rolled our sleeves up and turned the screw in the end," said the under 18s coach.
"The boys worked hard for each other and we got our rewards.
"We had a couple of injuries but the boys adapted well and it was a great goal from Scott to win us the game. It's definitely one to watch out for on YouTube."
