Northampton Town were delighted to welcome the Manchester United and Wolverhampton Wanderers under 12 squads to the game on Saturday.
Both clubs attended the Forest Green Rovers game after taking part in a round robin tournament alongside the Cobblers at Moulton College on Saturday morning.
The two clubs then headed down to the PTS Academy Stadium to lay wreaths in memory of Walter Tull at the memorial ahead of kick off against Forest Green Rovers.
All three squads then watched the game with Forest Green Rovers from the Mick George family area before taking part in a half time lap of honour.
The United squad were led by former Cobblers defender Chris McCready.
