KEITH CURLE - 'TUESDAY WAS A MINIMUM AND THERE IS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT'

Team news as the Cobblers prepare to travel to Swindon Town

5 October 2018

New Cobblers boss Keith Curle has confirmed there were no fresh injuries picked up in his first game in charge with Shaun McWilliams (ankle) and Junior Morias (hamstring) the only two players currently unavailable for selection.

“As it stands, everyone who took part on Tuesday is fit and available,” he said.

“A few of the players need a little bit of monitoring and looking after but there’s nothing too serious.

“Shaun McWilliams and Junior Morias are progressing but Saturday is too early for them.

“Each player that played on Tuesday night set a bench mark in terms of their performance but that is a minimum and I think there is still room for improvement. There are some very good players in the changing room here but the key is working with those players to turn them into a team.”
