TAYLOR AND BARNETT REMAIN UNAVAILBLE FOR OXFORD CHECKATRADE TROPHY TIE

All the team news ahead of Tuesday's trip to Oxford United

9 October 2018

Defenders Ash Taylor and Leon Barnett remain unavailable for selection ahead of Tuesday night’s Checkatrade Trophy tie at Oxford United.

“Ash and Leon won’t be back for Tuesday,” confirmed boss Keith Curle.

“I’m still exploring what’s in the changing room and ultimately I want everyone to get a chance in a competitive game.

“I don’t give shirts away and if somebody gets a shirt it’s because they have earned it.

“The players who came in on Saturday adapted very well. Shaun McWilliams hasn’t been playing regular football and he felt a little bit of fatigue so we took him off after an hour. It was the same for Jordan Turnbull as well but after the first few minutes I thought he settled down and gave a very solid performance and got better and better as the game went on."
