Northampton Town's youth team welcomed Luton Town to Moulton College on Saturday for their latest EFL Youth Alliance fixture.
First half goals from Michael Harding and Ryan Hughes secured a 2-0 victory for Jon Brady's side as they followed up the midweek win over Swindon in the FA Youth Cup.
"It was a very strong solid performance," he said.
"Luton are a good side and the boys showed good character to come out after the game in midweek.
"After losing our first game last week to Leyton Orient the boys have shown a great reaction this week to bounce back with two very good wins."
