JON BRADY CAN'T WAIT FOR WEDNESDAY'S FA YOUTH CUP TIE

Under 18s coach looking forward to the PTS Academy Stadium clash

14 November 2018

Cobblers under 18s coach Jon Brady is excited to look forward to Wednesday night’s FA Youth Cup second round tie against Swindon Town at the PTS Academy Stadium, kick-off 7pm. An enticing third round tie away at Arsenal awaits the winners.

“We are really looking forward to it and we really appreciate all the support we have had from the fans and everybody involved in the academy,” he said.

“The first round was a good taste for the boys and hopefully there will be another good crowd in on Wednesday night.

“It’s another great opportunity for the boys to showcase themselves and show the first team manager what they are all about. The most important team at a football club is the first team and it’s been great for a few of the boys to experience being involved with the first team in recent weeks.

“These opportunities are all great experiences and obviously there is a nice reward for the winners on Wednesday. We can’t think about that though and it’s important we just focus on Swindon.

“Swindon are at a similar level to ourselves, they are a good, strong side and it will be a difficult test but we will be going all out to try and win the game.

“We are going to give it our best and hopefully that will be enough on the night. Everybody is fit and we all can’t wait for the game to start now.”
