The Northampton Town Football in the Community Trust stage weekly coaching sessions for adults with learning difficulties at the Redwell Leisure Centre in Wellingborough which take place on a Monday afternoon each week from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
The session has been running for almost two years and many of the players are from Teamwork Trust which is a day centre based in both Wellingborough and Kettering. The first session is for lower ability adults with learning difficulties and the players are helped by volunteers and coaches from Northampton Town Multi Disability squads.
A second session takes place each week from 2.30pm to 3.30pm for adults of a higher ability.
