Shrewsbury Town come to Sixfields on Tuesday night and Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink wants his side to get back to winning ways.
"We have four home games left and we need to try and win them all,” he said.
"Shrewsbury are on fire but we have to keep on believing.
“We are doing everything we can, I understand the fans frustration but when a player gives a bad pass it doesn’t help anyone to get on his back.
“The fans are entitled to be upset, they are paying good money to come and watch and on Saturday it wasn’t good enough.
“I want us to be all together through good and bad days.
“The fans can lift us, they make more of a difference than they realise and that would be a big help to us and at the moment we need that help.”
