Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was clearly disappointed as he reflected on Friday’s home defeat to Charlton.
“It’s a really hard one to take,” he said.
"We prepared really well, we wanted to make it a tight game and we started well in the first 10 minutes when we did that.
"Charlton are a good side but their first goal was really disappointing from our point of view. It was a header from the smallest man on the pitch and that shouldn't happen.
"Our confidence went, we tried to make a fist out of it but Charlton picked us off."
