Kick off at Fernie Fields is at 7.45pm for the game that has become the Cobblers traditional pre-season curtain raiser.
Admission is by paying on arrival, priced at £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.
England.s World Cup last sixteen tie with Colombia will be shown in the bar at Fernie Fields.
Northampton Town's second pre-season game is away at St Albans City on Saturday.
