First year apprentices welcomed into the youth team squad

Northampton Town's youth team reported back for pre-season training on Monday, and the squad have welcomed a new batch of first year scholars into the squad.

Joining the second year players are the below newcomers:

Lewi Patching (back row, second left in blue)
Lewi is a local goalkeeper who joined the Northampton Town Academy at the age of under 9.

Jacob Ballinger (back row in white, left)
Jacob lives in Towcester and is a left footed wide player who possesses a lot of pace.

Urijah Gordon-Douglas (back row in white, right)
Urijah is a tall, strong striker who is from Northampton. He attended the Malcolm Arnold Academy in Northampton.

Jordan Caswell (front row, second left)
Central defender Jordan is from Corby Town and joined the Northampton Town Academy last season.

Haydn Price (front row, middle)
Haydn is another local lad who attended Northampton School for Boys. Haydn is an aggressive central midfield player.

Ryan Smith (front row, second right)
A creative, left footed central midfield player. Ryan is from Milton Keynes.

Michael Harding (front row, right)
The club worked hard to secure the signing of Michael, who comes from Leicester. He is new to the Northampton Town Academy and is a creative, attacking player.
