Northampton Town manager Dean Austin is looking forward to the club's week long training camp in Spain.
The Cobblers head out on Saturday, and will play one game as part of the trip, against the Hull City under 23s on Thursday.
“The trip gives us the chance to be together as a group,” said Austin.
“Team spirit and bonding is important but we will also have the chance to train twice a day with good breaks in-between.
“We are really going to start to nail down some fundamentals of our team and give ourselves a base from which to develop."
Andy Williams and Hakeem Odoffin have both already joined the Cobblers this summer and asked if he is still looking to add to his squad, with the new season just over three weeks away Austin added:
“We have an idea on where we would like to do a couple of things and we need to make sure that this squad is fully equipped to cope with the demands of 46 extremely tough games.”
