Cobblers boss Dean Austin is expecting another difficult work out for his side as he looked ahead to Tuesday night’s trip to Brackley Town.
“Every game is going to be a tough test and we are trying to build it up a little bit with each game,” he said.
“The boys are going to start to get some more minutes now as we start to build things up a bit.
“Kevin van Veen came off as a precaution on Saturday, the players had a very hard week last week and he just felt a little bit of fatigue in his thigh.
“I’m not going to take any chances with any players and hopefully he will be okay for Brackley on Tuesday.”
