Northampton Town’s under 18s travelled to AFC Wimbledon on Saturday in the EFL Youth Alliance.
Sean Whaler scored two and Morgan Roberts was also on target as the game ended 3-3.
"Overall it was another positive performance away from home," said coach Jon Brady.
"Wimbledon pegged us back and three defensive errors cost us in the end but in difficult conditions playing on Astroturf the boys adapted well."
