Northampton Town's very own greyhound, the Claret Cobbler, was in action at Towcester on Friday evening.
In his first race after making a step up in standard to the A5 class, and despite being an 8/1 outsider, the Claret Cobbler secured a creditable 4th place in the 20.52 race.
Claret was 0.33 seconds behind the winner, You Little Jimbo.
