Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink understands the importance of Saturday's home game against Rochdale.
"We know that the games against the teams in and around us in the table are important but it's important to try and win any game, we are at home and we want to work with the crowd again to try and get the three points," he said.
"Rochdale are a good footballing team and it will be another very hard and very serious challenge for us on Saturday.
"I've seen their game against Millwall from last weekend and they were very unlucky not to win that game.
"They are not playing like a team at the bottom of the league and we need to respect that."
"It's going to be a very hard game and we know we are going to be tested."
