KEITH CURLE PLEASED TO BE BACK HOME

The Cobblers boss on returning to the PTS Academy Stadium

13 December 2018

Cobblers boss Keith Curle says he is glad to be back at the PTS Academy Stadium as he previews Saturday’s home game against Stevenage.

Northampton Town have played five of the last six matches away from home, but Saturday starts a festive run of three home games out of four.

“It’s good to be back at home,” he said.

“The atmosphere here has been fantastic and you can definitely feel something building.

“The Grimsby result was a bit frustrating but if we had got the second goal then that could have been totally different.

“If we start a game well we need to make sure we kill it off and if you have a team by the scruff of the neck then you don’t let them go.

“Stevenage had a very good start to the season, they are fit, well organised and they have had some very good results.

“Every team that we play against has different strengths and weaknesses and you need to be able to adapt.”
