Northampton Town youth team duo Jack Daldy and Ryan Hughes have joined St Neots Town on a work experience basis while youth team goalkeeper Bradley Lashley has joined Wellingborough Town on a similar arrangement.

Striker Daldy and defender Hughes will spend time with the Evostik Southern League Premier Division Central side while Lashley will play for the Doughboys to gain experience of first team football playing with and against senior players.

Manager Keith Curle and under 18s coach Jon Brady have both previously spoken about arranging loan spells for members of the successful under 18s squad as part of their player development plan.

"The boys will benefit a huge amount from this," said under 18s coach Jon Brady.

"The priority for us is player development over youth team results and we feel that by getting some of the under 18s out to play first team football, that will be far more beneficial to them as opposed to continuing to play against players their own age.

"We will monitor their progress closely and we know they are going to a good clubs where they will be well looked after."

Staggered kick off times in the respective games mean Brady will watch all three players in action on Saturday.
