Cobblers boss previews Tuesday night's game

21 August 2018

Cobblers boss Dean Austin previews Tuesday night’s trip to Morecambe.

"We are well and truely dusted down from Saturday and we are ready to go again," he said.

"I was obviously disappointed on Saturday but especially so for the fans. We need that first win and hopefully when we get that we will have the platform to kick on.

"I'm not concerned in regards to the performances but we just need to get ourselves over the line. We are creating more than enough chances to put games to bed but we have got to capitalise on those chances and eradicate the little errors.

"I know that we are doing the right things and we've just got to re-group and after Saturday it's quite good for us to have another game quickly. The three words I give to the boys are reflect, correct and effect.

"Morecambe haven't had a very good start but neither have we and you'd be a fool to underestimate us. I've watched their game from Saturday and they were very unfortunate not to get anything at Stevenage.

"I don't approach any game differently and all we look at is trying to win the next game.

"The support we had at Carlisle was unbelievable and hopefully we can give all the fans that are able to travel to Morecambe a nice journey back."
