Our own e-sports player, Liam Merry (REAPERZz), secured an impressive treble at the Insomnia Gaming Festival over the bank holiday weekend.
REAPERZz, sponsored proudly by Imperial Cars, took part in the daily FIFA tournaments held at the NEC in Birmingham and came through each challenge unbeaten on Saturday, Sunday and bank holiday Monday.
Liam, who also came 2nd on the Friday, plays a big role in our upcoming FIFA soccer schools and was delighted with his performances over the weekend.
"Each year the competition gets stronger but I've been working hard and thankfully that has paid off this weekend. I was aiming to win at least one tournament but to win all three of the four is brilliant.
"I'm now looking forward to seeing everyone later this week at the PTS Academy Stadium as we host the FIFA soccer schools. They've been great fun so far and I'm excited to help people improve their own FIFA skills."
