Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Barnet on Tuesday for a re-arranged EFL Youth Alliance Merit Division fixture.
Morgan Roberts bagged a brace and Sean Whaler was also on target as the Cobblers recorded a 3-2 win in the capital.
"All in all it was another good performance from the boys," said under 18s coach Jon Brady.
"They are doing really well at the moment and I think that's four wins from our last six games.
"We scored a couple of good free-kicks, Morgan hit the post and was unlucky not to get a hat-trick."
