Northampton Town's youth team were in action on Saturday when they welcomed Plymouth Argyle to Moulton College in the EFL Youth Alliance Merit Division.
The Cobblers youngsters continued their impressive run of form with a 1-0 win, Jay Williams on target.
Head of coaching Lee Garlick took the team on Saturday and he was really pleased with how the team played.
"It was a tight game and we had to soak up a bit of pressure towards the end but the boys defended really well," he said.
"We had a very young team out again, we had three under 16s starting and some under 15s on the bench.
"The team is on a nice little run of form at the moment and it was good to see that continue."
