Cobblers caretaker boss Dean Austin has told his players they must not get carried away with last week's performance against Plymouth as they prepare for Saturday’s game at Walsall.
"We've won two games on the spin and that's a nice feeling but we can't get too carried away," he said.
"It's a nice feeling we had on Saturday but that game has gone now and we have to go again.
"We have improved and you can see the confidence going back into the players but I don't want over confidence.
"I've said to the players you are only as good as your last game and yes our last game was very good but that has gone now and Walsall is going to be an extremely tough game.
"Walsall haven't been on the best of form but neither had we until the last two games and we have to turn up on Saturday with the same work ethic.
"We haven't achieved anything yet and we need to keep going."
