Cobblers caretaker boss Dean Austin stressed the need for his players to impose themselves on the match as he previewed Saturday's home game with Plymouth Argyle.
"We have to respect Plymouth but we need to impose our game on them," he said.
"They have been on a fantastic run and they have good players but the pressure is on them in a different way.
"It's a different kind of pressure but they need the win to try and keep them in the top six.
"It's a while since we've had that winning feeling at home but I believe if we turn up and perform to our maximum on Saturday then we can win the game."
