COBBLERS TEAM UP WITH ENGLAND AMPUTEE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

Sessions to take place during multi disability coaching on a Friday

17 April 2018

The Northampton Town FC Community Trust have partnered with the England Amputee Football Association to work towards increasing participation in amputee football and growing the sport further.

National Development Officer at the England Amputee Football Association, Shannon Howarth said ‘It’s great to see proactive clubs wanting to add amputee football to their delivery programmes. The EAFA are really excited to work with Northampton Town to hopefully create new teams to enter the Irwin Mitchell National League’.

The Northampton Town Community Trust will be offered the opportunity to train their staff through the Coaching Amputee Footballers Course ran by the England Amputee Football Association to ensure their staff are knowledgeable and better equipped to deliver amputee football.

Details of the sessions for both adults and juniors can be found below;

For more information please contact Shannon Howarth at shannon@theeafa.co.uk

Please note, these sessions will be pan disability sessions until enough interest is generated for an amputee specific session.
