Northampton Town's youth team travelled to Peterborough United on Saturday for their latest EFL Youth Alliance fixture.
The Cobblers won the game 4-2, Morgan Roberts netting a brace alongside goals from Prudence Anaele and Jack Newell.
“We weren’t at our best but we found a way to win,” said coach Jon Brady.
“It was a thoroughly professional performance and it’s important to learn how to win games even when the performance could have been better.”
