Northampton Town manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has a number of selection decisions to consider as he prepares his team for Tuesday night's to Wigan Athletic.
While Aaron Phillips, Sam Hoskins, John-Joe O'Toole and Sam Foley are nearing fitness they are not expected to be fit for Tuesday, while the Cobblers will also be without Matt Crooks for the trip to the DW Stadium as the midfielder serves a one-match ban following his sending off at Southend on Saturday.
“It wasn’t needed but Matt is still young and he needs to learn," said Hasselbaink.
“He will be a big miss for us."
The Cobblers boss is however hopeful that George Smith may be fit, Smith missed the game on Saturday with a hip injury while Shaun McWilliams will still be missing with a foot injury.
