Northampton Town Football Club are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will form an integral part of our medical team by taking on the role of Senior Therapist.
Key Duties include:
Support medical department with injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of players from U9 to first team.
Liaise with first team physiotherapist and Head of Academy Sports Science and Medicine to provide support.
Keep up to date records of medical and injury interventions according to data protection.
Support with medical screenings and physical testing of players.
Provide pitchside medical support for players aged U9-U16.
Experience working within a professional environment
Degree in relevant subject – Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation.
FA Level 2 Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF) - formally FA Basic First Aid for Sport or equivalent.
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work in a flexible working week (evenings and weekends)
Member of Health and Care Professions Council
Experience in Elite Sporting Environment
FA Level 4 Intermediate Trauma Medical Management in Football (ITMMiF)
