Cobblers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink demanded more from his team as he reflected on Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Rotherham United.
“I wasn’t happy with the second half and I think that’s the worst half since I’ve been here,” he said.
“In the first half we were good and we created chances but so did Rotherham and I wasn’t happy with some of the chances we gave away.
“Rotherham were smarter than us in the second half, they were first to the ball and we were too loose.
“We were okay in patches today but in the second half we were way under par and I expected more.
"The supporters were great again, and I would like to thank them for their fantastic backing."
