Northampton Town striker Leon Lobjoit has joined Evo-Stik League South side Corby Town on a one month loan.
The 22-year-old will join up with youth team striker Lewis Irwin who is there on a work experience basis, and manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink says it’s a good opportunity for Lobjoit to get some more match experience.
“We feel this is the ideal platform for Leon to go out and get some 90 minutes of competitive football under his belt on a regular basis,” he said.
“We’ll be monitoring him closely whilst he’s away and the chance to play regular first team football over the next month will stand him in good stead and help continue his development.”
